Hydraulic jacks are precision equipment, mainly reflected in the gap between oil cylinders and the sealing performance of seals. If the machining dimensions of the oil cylinder are not consistent, such as what we often refer to as too much shaking, it will not rise, and the problem is more serious when the force is small and the shaking is generally large. It can seal a part of the cylinder, but it will tilt during the jacking process, causing cylinder compression and ultimately cylinder deformation. Therefore, the machining quality of the oil cylinder can reflect the technical level of a jack production factory and workers. At the same time, the selection of sealing components is like the short board in a bucket. The worse the seal, the shorter the usage time of this equipment.

Of course, we cannot solely blame the manufacturer for the failure of the hydraulic cylinder and seals of the hydraulic jack. Improper use and storage can cause rusting on the surface of the cylinder wall or piston wall, resulting in significant frictional force when the seals move up and down, leading to rapid wear and tear. Therefore, as consumers and users, we should not expose the oil cylinder to air for a long time, or wipe the oil cylinder to damage the anti rust oil coating.
