The field bearing plate measuring instrument is a commonly used measuring instrument in municipal construction. It can measure the rebound modulus of roadbed soil, whole layer pavement materials, and pavement structural layer materials. Its usage method is to load and unload the soil foundation step by step on the surface of the soil foundation on site through the bearing plate, measure the corresponding rebound deformation value of the soil foundation under each level of load, and calculate the rebound modulus of the soil foundation.

After installing and fixing the load-bearing beam before use, select representative measuring points to ensure that the middle position of the load-bearing beam is above the load-bearing plate, and the hydraulic jack is located in the center of the load-bearing plate. When encountering a situation where the height between the load-bearing beam and the load-bearing plate is too high, we can place a cushion tube or wooden pad under the jack to align the jack head with the load-bearing plate, or adjust the screw of the hydraulic jack head.

During use, we can raise or lower the load-bearing beam by pressing the handle of the hydraulic jack, making it easier for the staff to measure the required values.
