A car jack is a tool used to lift the body of a car when replacing a spare tire. Private car owners usually place the jack in the trunk of the car, while auto repair shops place the jack in their toolbox. Although screw jacks, hydraulic jacks, claw jacks, and even horizontal and scissor jacks can be called car jacks, they exhibit different stability performance during the process of lifting the car.

I believe that most people choose a car jack, and they definitely hope to choose a jack with good stability. This way, when replacing the spare tire, there will be no situations such as the jack overturning or the vehicle tilting. However, if using the exclusion method to choose from existing types of jacks, only screw jacks and hydraulic jacks may meet this requirement.
Because the advantage of claw type jacks lies in the integration of the top and claw, they are more suitable for lifting low and heavy objects. Moreover, the concave and convex positions of the top and the bottom of the car are not easy to align. The load-bearing parts of horizontal jacks, in addition to the bottom, also have wheels. The load-bearing capacity and stability of wheels are obviously not as stable as solid chassis. In addition, shear type jacks have a small body size, narrow chassis, and poorer stability. Therefore, screw jacks and hydraulic jacks are the two most stable types of car jacks.
