As a common air compressor, screw air compressor has significant advantages such as high efficiency, safety and reliability, and can continuously provide high-quality compressed air for various industries. However, after a certain period of use, air compressors often require maintenance and adjustment, and adjusting the exhaust clearance is a crucial technique throughout the entire maintenance process. You should know that the size of the exhaust clearance adjustment will have a direct impact on the working performance of the compressor.

Spiral jacks belong to the category of manual tools. Although they require more effort in manual operation compared to electric jacks, they have unique advantages in fine-tuning. Operators can flexibly lift and lower the sleeve according to the current gap situation, thereby achieving precise adjustment of the exhaust gap.

The specific operation steps are as follows: First, use a screw jack to slowly lift the screw. After the screw is firmly pushed, install the bearing and confirm that the bearing is accurately installed in place. Then, use the bearing inner ring cover to press it tightly, and then release the jack. Then, install the dial gauge on the exhaust end, gently press the probe of the dial gauge against the shaft end, adjust the dial gauge pointer to the 0 position, and lift the jack again until the index of the dial gauge no longer changes.

Next, install the bearing cover and tighten the cover bolts. Reinstall the dial gauge so that the probe of the dial gauge is pressed against the inner ring cover of the bearing. Then lift the screw jack to check the clearance of the bearing. It should be noted that the clearance of the bearing should be within the standard range of 0.015-0.03mm.
