The reason is actually very simple. It starts with the working principle of the jack. Hydraulic jacks use fluid transmission, and multiple hydraulic jacks have a device called a diversion valve. This diversion valve is used to distribute hydraulic oil in equal flow. Under the action of the diversion valve, multiple jacks can achieve synchronous lifting.

On the other hand, mechanical jacks do not operate under fluid transmission, but rely on the interaction between machines to complete lifting. Therefore, without equipment such as diversion valves, it is difficult to achieve synchronous lifting. Uneven lifting speeds can cause tilting and imbalance, leading to collapse. Therefore, multiple jacks are used synchronously as hydraulic jacks.
