If the hydraulic jack fails to lift properly during use, it is likely that there is a problem with the internal oil pressure system. We can analyze it based on different situations during operation.
If during the use of a hydraulic jack, the handle cannot descend normally and there is a noticeable feeling of immense internal pressure, it is similar to how when we use an air pump, the air outlet is blocked, and pressing it a little will cause the air pressure to rebound. At this point, it indicates that the oil circuit entering the main fuel tank may be blocked due to two reasons: large particle impurities blocking and the main fuel tank valve being damaged and unable to open normally.
If during the use of a hydraulic jack, the handle can be pressed down normally, but the top support cannot be lifted properly, or it falls down just after getting up, it is like inflating a car with a flat tire, with one side inflating and the other leaking. This situation is highly likely to be due to the damage of the oil discharge valves, which are in a normally open state. The hydraulic oil pressurized into the main oil tank quickly flows back to the storage tank through the open return circuit, making it impossible to apply a continuous hydraulic pressure.
There is also a situation where the top support can still move upward normally, even if it is not severely overloaded. However, the internal pressure is enormous and it is easy to cause damage. Severe overload refers to the situation where the safety factor has been exceeded and the hydraulic jack is completely unable to withstand external pressure, resulting in instantaneous scrapping.
These are the main reasons that affect the normal lifting of hydraulic jacks. We hope that everyone can regularly inspect and maintain hydraulic jacks while also paying attention to standardized use.
